We are so excited for our friends from La Colaborativa. Today they took delivery on a refrigeration truck which they were able to obtain with the assistance of a grant that came from the The The Greater Boston Food Bank. Keep a look out & follow their FB page for updates. We are also so thrilled to have La Colaborativa staff & volunteers as part of our Club, as they are true example of the Kiwanis spirit of giving & showing that #KiwanisCares! #KiwanisForKids ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know July is Disability Pride Month? How are you choosing to honor it this year?
Disability Pride Month only officially began in 2015, but disabled people have celebrated and defended our identities for much longer. This year, we will celebrate 31 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act — but we still have so far to go, both in the United States and globally.
As we kick off the celebration, allies should continue to invite disabled people into their spaces, implement accessibility, challenge their own ableism, and listen to and support disabled people.
